Top 3 Moments of AEW All In 2025
On Saturday, July 12th, AEW returned to Texas for its biggest show of the year, “All In.” The event was headlined by Jon Moxley putting the AEW World Championship on the line against “Hangman” Adam Page. The two men met in a Texas Deathmatch for the top prize in AEW and had a 30-minute war. This was a match that Page earned by winning the 2025 Owen Hart Memorial Cup on the men’s side of things.
We also saw Kazuchika Okada and Kenny Omega renew their rivalry from New Japan, as they combined the Continental and International Championships. Also, Toni Storm defended the AEW Women’s Championship against the Women’s Owen Hart Memorial Cup tournament winner, Mercedes Mone. This was a night filled with new champions crowned and so much amazing action. So, what were the top three moments of the night?
3. Kazuchika Okada and Kenny Omega Unify The Continental and International Championships
In the final match before the main event at All In, we saw Kazuchika Okada and Kenny Omega unify the Continental and International Championships. The winner of this match would be crowned the first-ever AEW Unified Champion. Okada and Omega are certainly no strangers to each other, having one of the best matches in the history of professional wrestling in their former promotion of New Japan Pro Wrestling. Now, Okada and Omega meet on a new stage in front of new fans.
The match itself didn’t disappoint. The two men know each other better than anyone, and it showed in this match. Okada targeted the midsection of Omega, which was affected by Omega’s diverticulitis health issue. Omega rallied from time to time, even landing a massive one-winged angel on Okada. Just as it looked like Omega had the win, Don Callis pulled the referee out of the ring to save the match for his insurance policy.
Ultimately, Okada hit the rainmaker lariat for the victory. The two men went to a 30-minute war with one another. This match was excellent, but wasn’t as good as their match in New Japan. Nonetheless, Okada is officially the AEW Unified Champion. Where does Kenny Omega go from here? That remains to be seen. But one thing we know for sure is that Okada is continuing to prove himself in front of the new AEW crowd. This was an excellent match and worth a watchback any time.
2. Adam Copeland Saves Christian Cage
At All In, the Hurt Syndicate put the AEW World Tag Team Championships on the line against JetSpeed and The Patriarchy. Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin looked to be in a bad mood and just wanted to hurt everyone who came in their way. This spelt bad news for “Speedball” Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight, and Christian Cage and Nick Wayne. The end of the match saw Lashley hit a massive spear on Cage to win the match and retain the titles for The Hurt Syndicate. However, the bigger story came after the match concluded.
Wayne turned on Cage, where Kip Sabian and Wayne’s mother joined in on the beatdown of The Patriarch. The seeds were planted long ago, with it climaxing at All In. FTR got involved and urged a conchairto to Cage. However, that’s when Copeland made his surprise return. Cope cleared the ring with style like only he can. A reunion between the two men seems to be coming, but not quite yet. Cope told Cage to “Go Find Yourself” before leaving the ring.
It seems that we could be seeing the face turn of Cage, and with Cope back, a reunion between the two men is surely in the cards. This was hands down one of the best professional wrestling moments of the night. Cope saving Cage from a surefire beatdown was enough to pop the crowd. It remains to be seen where they go from here, but one thing we know for sure is that Cope is officially back in AEW.
1. Hangman Adam Page Wins The AEW World Championship
The main event of the show saw “Hangman” Adam Page challenge Jon Moxley for Mox’s AEW World Championship. It wasn’t just an ordinary match as we saw a Texas Deathmatch between the two men. At Double or Nothing back in May, Page defeated Will Ospreay in the finals of the Owen Hart Memorial Cup tournament. Thus, earning the right to challenge Moxley for the AEW World Championship at All In. This match didn’t disappoint and had a very “end game” type of feel to it. At Dynamite 300 on July 2nd, Page and Moxley officially decided to meet in a Texas Deathmatch.
This match was about as brutal and bloody as it came. We saw a lot of outside interference from the likes of the Young Bucks, Bryan Danielson, Darby Allin, Swerve Strickland, Will Ospreay, and more. This was a typical “Good Guys vs. Bad Guys” match, where it had a very endgame type of feel like WrestleMania 40 did between Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns. The match finally came to its epic conclusion when Page choked Moxley out with a chain. This was a nice callback to their previous deathmatch together.
All In went off the air with Page unlocking the briefcase, which held the AEW World Championship. This symbolized the good guys once again taking AEW back from the death grip of the Death Riders. This was arguably the perfect main event for the near-perfect show. It remains to be seen where Moxley goes from here, but one thing we know for sure is that Page is alone back on top of the AEW mountain, and is primed to have a better run with the AEW World Championship than his last.
