ICW NHB x Horror Slam – NHB 87 Preview
ICW No Holds Barred is rolling back into Southgate. NHB 87 looks like one of those shows where the venue might not survive but the stories definitely will. At the top of the card. John Wayne Murdoch is putting the American Deathmatch Championship on the line against The Bev. A matchup that feels like pure chaos waiting to happen. Murdoch’s the kind of guy who treats violence like a second language. But Bev has been on a tear and doesn’t exactly show up to not bleed. It’s one of those title fights where you can already picture the light tubes popping before the bell even rings.
The rest of the lineup is stacked in that classic ICW/Horror Slam way. The kind of matches that feel personal even if no one says a word. Ludark vs. Eric Ryan has “fight, not match” energy written all over it. And you just know Ludark is going to swing first. Dale Patricks and Crazy King meeting up again is also wild on its own, and then you add W4L48 vs. The Pillars, a tag clash that’s less “tag team chemistry” and more “four people who plan on using each other as weapons.” Danny Demanto vs. Stryker Wellington adds that perfect mid-card spice: part grudge, part spectacle, part “what on earth are they about to do?”
And then there’s the four-way. Chuck Stein, Dr. Redacted, Tony Tremendous, and Hoodfoot tossed together with zero rules is the kind of booking where anything can happen and probably will. Hoodfoot alone can turn a ring into a crime scene, and adding three more brawlers is just stacking gasoline on the fire. NHB 87 feels like one of those shows where every match has something worth talking about the next day — a mix of big personalities, reckless energy, and the kind of in-your-face violence that makes ICW NHB what it is. If you’re going live, good luck dodging broken glass. If you’re watching from home, just turn the lights down and enjoy the carnage.
Match Card Previews
John Wayne Murdoch (c) vs. The Bev – American Deathmatch Championship

This one’s straight-up carnage waiting to happen. Murdoch has been carrying that American Deathmatch Title like it’s welded to him, but Bev is the kind of challenger who shows up like a storm cloud. Murdoch brings the experience and the mean streak, but Bev brings raw momentum and enough stubbornness to walk through a minefield if it means leaving with the belt. Expect smashed tubes, gouged foreheads, and the crowd yelling before the weapons even come out.
Ludark vs. Eric Ryan
This match feels like two completely different brands of chaos meeting in the middle. Ludark is unpredictable in all the best ways — she doesn’t just fight, she creates violence. Eric Ryan comes in as a machine of precision brutality. Whenever these two collide, it never looks like a match where someone’s trying to win on points; it looks like a dare to see who’s willing to bleed first. And honestly? That’s what makes this one so exciting.
Dale Patricks vs. Crazy King
If you like matches that feel like somebody opened a back-alley fight circle and handed everyone weapons, this is the one. Dale Patricks has been in some seriously wild wars, and Crazy King isn’t just a name — the dude does things in deathmatches that look like choices no sane person would make. Patricks brings grit and endurance, Crazy King brings insanity and pure showmanship. Together? This match screams “instant highlight reel.”
W4L48 vs. The Pillars
Tag team matches in ICW NHB hit different, and this one has all the ingredients for a full-blown demolition derby. W4L48 is a dangerous unit — there’s no weak link, no guy hiding on the apron. The Pillars come in with a mix of presence and power, the kind of team that doesn’t just fight you, they try to fold you in half. Expect bodies flying, teamwork breaking down, and probably some weaponized tag team creativity no one asked for but everyone will be glad they saw.
Danny Demanto vs. Stryker Wellington
This has the perfect “you didn’t know you needed this match until it was announced” vibe. Danny Demanto always brings personality, attitude, and that veteran swagger. Stryker Wellington comes in with something to prove and all the energy of somebody ready to punch his ticket to the next level. This could lean brawly, it could lean violent, it could lean comedy — or it could lean all three at once because that’s how ICW rolls.
Chuck Stein vs. Dr. Redacted vs. Tony Tremendous vs. Hoodfoot – Four-Way Fight
Pure chaos. Four-way matches in NHB already feel like trouble, but this lineup is straight volatility. Chuck Stein thrives in matches where the rules don’t exist. Dr. Redacted is unpredictable and unhinged in all the entertaining ways. Tony Tremendous will do anything to make a statement, even if it costs him a few pints of blood. And then there’s Hoodfoot — the man who can turn any room into a war zone just by walking in. This might be the sleeper match of the night and the one people are talking about long after the last light tube pops.
