On Saturday, September 6th, Combat Zone Wrestling returned to Townsend, Delaware, with their flagship show, “Tournament Of Death XXII!” The most popular yearly Deathmatch tournament returned with some massive names and matches! The event streamed live on IWTV.

Here are the results:

Tournament Of Death Opening Rounds:

1.) Four Corners Of Pain Match: Judge Joe Dred (w/Steven Jury) defeats Nick Gage due to interference from Steven Jury.

After the match, Gage grabs a mic and talks to the crowd. He said he’s back and feels good. His goal is to win a strap in this company!

2.) Ultraviolent Tables Match: Akira defeats Hoodfoot with double knees from the turnbuckle for the pinfall to advance.

3.) Barbed Wire Madness Match: Drake Younger defeats Dimitri Alexandrov to advance to the next round.

4.) Panes Of Glass Match: Mickie Knuckles defeats RSP with a hip attack in the corner through a pane of glass for the pinfall.

5.) Gusset Plate Ropes & Cinderblocks Match: Shlak defeats Tim Strange with a huge bodyslam for the pinfall.

6.) Falls Count Anywhere Terra Cotta Deathmatch: Eric Ryan defeats JJ Allin to advance to the next round.

CZW World Champion Erin Ashe comes to the ring and is confronted by Jimmy Lloyd. The two exchanged words and pushed each other before Ashe left the ring. 

The CZW World Championship Match between Erin Ashe and Jimmy Lloyd is announced next month at CZW’s “Deja Vu!”

As we enter the semi-finals of the tournament, the rain has begun to fall heavily.

Semi-Finals Round:

7.) Triple Threat Match: Judge Joe Dred (w/Steven Jury) defeated Drake Younger & Akira to advance to the finals; Dred pinned Younger.

After the match, Drake Younger grabs the mic and talks to the crowd. He then acknowledges and gives high praise to Akira!

8.) Triple Threat Match: Shlak defeats Eric Ryan & Mickie Knuckles to advance to the finals.

9.) Tarp Of Death Invitational Match: CC Boost wins the Invitational.
