Romero (17-2, 13 KOs), the 12-1 underdog, shocked the boxing world when he defeated Garcia (24-2, 20 KOs) by a unanimous decision! Romero dropped Garcia in the second round, and from that moment, Garcia looked tentative about exchanging. Judges scored it 115-112, 115-112, 118-109.


The co-main event saw Devin Haney (32-0, 15 KOs) win an underwhelming twelve-round unanimous decision against Jose Ramirez (29-3, 18 KOs) in a non-title Welterweight Match. Judges scored the fight 119-109, 119-109, 118-110.

The first fight of the night showcased WBO junior lightweight champion Teofimo Lopez (22-1, 13 KOs) retaining his world title with a dominant twelve-round unanimous decision over the previously unbeaten #1 ranked Arnold Barboza (32-1, 11 KOs). The judges scores were 116-112, 116-112, and 118-110.
