On December 16th, 2025, Undisputed champion and boxing great, Terence “Bud” Crawford announced his retirement from boxing at age 38! This comes following a spectacular win in September over Canelo Alvarez.

Crawford retires undefeated with a 42-0 record (31 KOs). He is the only boxer in the four-belt era to become undisputed in three different weight classes!

Crawford provided a statement saying, “I’m stepping away from competition, not because I’m done fighting, but because I’ve won a different kind of battle. The one where you walk away on your own terms.”

Terence Crawford has defeated champion after champion in his career. His opponents included Canelo “Saul” Alvarez, Israil Madrimov, David Avanesyan, Errol Spence Jr, Shawn Porter, Amir Khan, and Kell Brook just to name a few!

We at Turnbuckle Times want to congratulate Terence Crawford on a Hall Of Fame career, and wish him luck in his retirement!
