On Saturday, May 9th, WWE held their first post-Wrestlemania 42 PLE “WWE Backlash,” live from the Benchmark International Arena in Tampa, Florida! The show will air on the ESPN app in the US and on Netflix Internationally. Here are the results from the show:

1.) Bron Breakker defeats Seth Rollins with a Spear for the pinfall.

2.) United States Championship Match: Trick Williams (c) defeats Sami Zayn with his Trick Shot for the win to retain his championship.

Danhausen’s partner emerges, it’s a midget Danhausen!

3.) Danhausen & Mini Danhausen defeated The Miz & Kit Wilson; Danhausen pinned The Miz.

4.) Iyo Sky defeats Asuka with her Moonsault finisher for the pinfall.

After the match, Iyo Sky and Asuka acknowledged each other and embraced. Asuka gave a wave to the crowd before leaving. Is Asuka possibly leaving the WWE?

John Cena announces the brand new “John Cena Classic Tournament!” Superstars of WWE and NXT will do battle, with the winner of the Tournament being chosen by the fans!

5.) WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match: Roman Reigns (c) defeats Jacob Fatu with a Spear to retain his championship.

After the match, Fatu repeatedly put the Tonga Death Grip on Roman! Officials came down but had a hard time containing Fatu. We go off the air with Fatu standing over Reigns, holding the Championship.
