Sebastian Fundora vs Keith Thurman Preview (3/28/2026)
The wait is over! WBC World Super Welterweight Champion Sebastian Fundora (23-1-1, 15 KOs) and Keith Thurman (31-1, 23 KOs) will finally meet tonight! The long-awaited bout comes to us live from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada, and streams on Amazon Prime PPV beginning at 8 PM EST.
The bout was originally scheduled back in October 2025, but was forced to be postponed due to an injury to the Champion’s hand. Now the two meet and headline this enormous fight card!
Keith Thurman was once considered one of the best fighters in the division. However, at 37, he has fought only twice in the past ten years! Still, Thurman will need to rely on his experience and his speed to pull off the upset tonight!
For the champion, Sebastian Fundora, it’s much simpler. Use his 11” reach advantage to keep Thurman at bay and frustrated. The unusually tall 6’ 5” fighter has at times been willing to exchange, something that cost him in his sole defeat against Brian Mendoza! Since then, he has been much more patient, using his size to his advantage.
This fight is certainly interesting and one that should not be missed. Whoever comes out on top tonight will have to earn it, something you always love to see in a high-stakes boxing match like this!
