After an unforgettable WWE SummerSlam Night 1, we now turn our attention to WWE SummerSlam 2026 Night 2! For the second night in a row, the event comes to us live from Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It is streaming on the ESPN App in the US and on Netflix Internationally beginning at 6 PM EST.

Another six massive matches are on the card, including the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match between former Shield members Champion Roman Reigns and challenger Seth Rollins! Also, a gigantic Women’s 5-Way Ladder Match for the Interim WWE Women’s Championship, plus so much more!

Last night Ethan Black went 4 out of 6 with his picks, while Noah and yours truly went 3 out of 6. I will be looking to redeem myself here! Here are our picks on who walks out of Night 2 in Minneapolis victorious.

Here are the staff picks for WWE SummerSlam 2026 Night 2:

1.) WWE Intercontinental Championship Match: Penta (c) vs. Chad Gable

Ethan Black: Chad Gable wins here because he deserves it!! Pick: Chad Gable

Noah Castonguay: Gable’s got this one! Coming off of his major AAA Americano storyline, it’s his time to win some singles titles, and the Intercontinental Title is a good start. Pick: Chad Gable

Rich Michaels: I, like many others, feel that Chad Gable should have been the one to dethrone Gunther and end his historic Intercontinental Title reign, not Sami Zayn! This is going to be WWE trying to right a wrong. Penta has had a nice run as IC Champ, and this is the perfect time to give Gable the singles title he so rightfully deserves! Pick: Chad Gable

2.) WWE United States Championship Match: Trick Williams (c) vs. Baron Corbin

Ethan Black: Baron Corbin becomes the new champion because he just came back. Pick: Baron Corbin

Noah Gastonguay:I think Trick Williams beats Corbin, but only because Trick is perfect with that belt right now and Corbin can do some mercenary work, maybe for his old friend Bron Breakker. Pick: Trick Williams

Rich Michaels: This is one of the few times in the past two nights that we are not unanimous. I will agree with Noah; even though Baron Corbin just returned, he doesn’t need the belt. His return and having a match at SummerSlam is a big deal in and of itself. Trick Williams’ title reign should continue here. Pick: Trick Williams

3.) Human Monies on a Pole Match: Danhausen vs. Dominik Mysterio

Ethan Black: Danhausen please, because I want this story to end! Pick: Danhausen

Noah Castonguay: Dominik will beat Danhausen, although neither of them needs the win because of how charismatic they both are, but I feel Dom might deserve it more momentum-wise. Pick: Dominik Mysterio

Rich Michaels: Again the deciding vote, lol! Whether you love it or hate it, Danhausen’s gimmick has taken the WWE Universe by storm. And his merchandise sales prove it! Dominik Mysterio is one of the very few superstars in WWE who could even make a match like this against Danhausen work! It’s Danhausen’s first SummerSlam, and he’s over, which is why I’m going with him here. Pick: Danhausen

4.) Undisputed WWE Championship No. 1 Contendership Match: Finn Bálor vs. Sami Zayn

Ethan Black: This is a tough one to predict, but I’ll go with Sami Zayn because he deserves the rematch. Pick: Sami Zayn

Noah Castonguay: It’s time for the greatest WWE wrestler (IMO) to reclaim his top spot. Finn Balor is going to put Sami Zayn in the dirt and go on to beat CM Punk to be the New WWE Champion! Pick: Finn Balor

Rich Michaels:I agree with Ethan; this is a difficult one to pick! Finn Balor should definitely be in the title picture. If not here, then somewhere in the near future. I think that, based on the way Sami won and then lost the WWE Title, this story between CM Punk and now-heel Sami Zayn is not over. Pick: Sami Zayn

5.) Interim WWE Women’s Championship Ladder Match: Charlotte Flair vs. Jade Cargill vs. Tiffany Stratton vs. Chelsea Green vs. Lash Legend (or mystery opponent)

Ethan Black: I’m picking Jade Cargill here because they can set up a 3rd match with Rhea Ripley. Pick: Jade Cargill

Noah Castonguay:It sucks that Rhea got injured, but unfortunately, this title hasn’t meant much to me for some time. I believe Charlotte or Jade will win it and feud for the belt, but screw it; Chelsea Green is our real champion, and she will beat all 4 other women and reach for the belt to win the big one. Pick: Chelsea Green

Rich Michaels: It’s been over three years since Charlotte Flair held a singles championship. For that reason and knowing the way WWE books, I’m going with Charlotte Flair here. Even though she doesn’t need the win and others in the match would benefit more from a title run, I still feel this is the direction WWE will go. Hopefully I’m wrong! Pick: Charlotte Flair

6.) WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Seth Rollins

Ethan Black: Roman is winning here because Seth doesn’t need it anymore & Reigns can finally said he beat him clean! Pick: Roman Reigns

Noah Castonguay: The World Heavyweight Championship is in contention between two of the greatest stars WWE has ever seen. But for my vision to be complete (no pun intended), I predict Seth Rollins will dethrone the OTC, even with Bloodline interference and almost definitely a chair shot to the back! Pick: Seth Rollins

Rich Michaels: I agree with Ethan that Roman Reigns is going to win here. Though I’m not sure it will be clean. I feel like The Bloodline will be involved here. Either way I do think Roman is retaining here. Pick: Roman Reigns
