On Thursday, October 2nd, Wrestling Open held its 196th episode, live at Electric Haze in Worcester, MA, and streamed on IWTV.

The JGP tournament continued with semi-final tournament matches. Also, “Big Boofa” Dezmond Cole returns with his first match in eight months at Wrestling Open, as he takes on Georgio Lawrence! Plus so much more.

Here are the results from the show:

Spotlight Match: Jake Gray defeats Tyler Jordan with a drop kick from the second rope to pick up the pinfall.

Oxx Adams grabs a mic and cuts a promo to the crowd prior to his match.

1.) Ryan Clancy defeats Oxx Adams via count-out.

With the win, Clancy picks the stipulation in his match against BRG next week. Clancy picks an I Quit Match!

2.) Discovery Gauntlet Match: Christian Darling defeats Bobby Casale to make it six wins in a row!

After the match, Darling grabs the mic to tell the crowd he is going to break the record of seven. Once he does, Wrestling Open officials told him he will get a title shot against a champion of his choosing.

3.) Joseph Alexander defeats “Wonderboy” Brian Morris by pinfall.

4.) Jermaine Marbury defeats Robles with a Neck Breaker for the pinfall.

5.) Dezmond Cole defeats Georgio Lawrence (w/DJ Powers) with a Swanton Bomb for the pinfall.

After the match, Cole challenges DJ Powers to a match, which Powers accepted.

6.) JGP Tournament Semifinal Match:Eye Black Jack defeats Joe Ocasio (w/Rain Conway) with a Spear to pick up the pinfall to advance to the Finals.

7.) JGP Tournament Semifinal Match: Steven Stetson defeats Sammy Diaz with a Lariat to the back of the neck for the pinfall to advance to the Finals.
