A disturbing video from a Knokx Pro Wrestling event held in Los Angeles on Saturday night has surfaced! Raja Jackson, the 25-year-old son of former UFC star Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, violently attacked independent wrestler Stuart “Syko Stu” Smith, leaving the wrestler hospitalized during a live-streamed show on Kick.

Jackson hoisted Smith over his head before slamming him hard onto the mat. He continued with a series of devastating punches while Smith appeared to be unconscious. Forcing several wrestlers from the back to rush into the ring to pull him off.

Knokx Pro Wrestling and Rampage Jackson posted about the incident on social media. Jackson claimed the incident was part of a wrestling angle that went wrong, and his son shouldn’t have been in the ring.

Rampage Jackson posted on his X account, “I want to clear up the misinformation about my son Raja. I’ve been confirmed that the wrestler ( Stewart Smith aka Syko Stu) is awake and stable. Raja was unexpectedly hit in the side of the head by him moments before Smith’s match. Raja was told that he could get his “payback” in the ring. I thought it was a part of the show. It was bad judgement, and a work that went wrong.

Raja is an MMA fighter, not a pro wrestler, and had no business being involved in an event like this. I don’t condone my son’s actions AT ALL! He suffered a concussion from sparring only days ago and had no business doing anything remotely close to physical contact. As a father, I’m deeply concerned with his health AND the well-being of Mr. Smith. That being said, I’m very upset that any of this happened, but my main concern now is that Mr. Smith will make a speedy recovery. I apologize on his behalf and to KICK for the situation.

Knokx Pro Wrestling also took to social media to post about the incident! “First and foremost, our thoughts and prayers are with our brother Mr. Stuart Smith (Syko Stu) as he remains a priority and we are monitoring his well-being. What was supposed to be a planned and agreed upon wrestling spot, turned into a selfish, irresponsible act of violence against Mr. Smith. This egregious act is reprehensible and never should have occurred. In the 17 years of operation of KnokX Pro Wrestling Academy, there has never been anything as heinous take place such as this, and we apologize to our patrons and fans.

Before the match, Smith smashed a beer can on Jackson’s head outside for a publicity stunt. Smith saw a camera filming, but did not realize that Jackson was not a wrestler. The two shared some words before other wrestlers stepped in between. Jackson and Smith appeared to have squashed things with a handshake before heading into the match.

While Jackson’s initial interference with Smith did appear to be planned, as the wrestling promotion stated, what transpired and how the incident played out were not. No updates have been given on Stuart Smith’s condition.

We at Turnbuckle Times send our thoughts and prayers to Smith and his family. We hope Smith makes a full and speedy recovery and will keep you posted with any updates. The video of the attack can be seen below:
