History was made tonight at Wrestling Open RI in Cranston as wrestling veteran Laynie Luck outlasted eleven other superstars to become the new WWE ID Women’s Champion! Luck had to compete and win a Qualifier Match to get the final spot in the WWE ID Women’s Championship Elimination Match main event.

The crowd was firmly behind Luck as she won, giving her a standing ovation. The other talents on the card also came to the ring to congratulate her. Chants of “You Deserve It” rang from the crowd and talent!

The WWE ID Women’s Championship was vacated by Inaugural Champion Kylie Rae on September 22, 2025, when Rae announced she was pregnant. WWE would later announce that the new champion would be crowned at Wrestling Open RI on Monday, November 17th.
