On Sunday, September 6th, a dream was finally realized when Judge Joe Dred won CZW Tournament of Death XXIII in Townsend, Delaware! After being a runner-up in the previous two tournaments, Dred would not be denied this time, making sure the third time was the charm!

The tournament finals saw an Exploding Timebomb Countdown Deathmatch! Dred outlasted Bear Bronson, who had an incredible debut in CZW and the tournament. The match saw a veteran against a huge up-and-comer on the Deathmatch scene, and the match didn’t disappoint!
