On Saturday, September 27th, WWE NXT‘s “No Mercy” was held at the FTL War Memorial in Fort Lauderdale, FL. There were some big matches on the card, culminating with a massive main event! This bitter rivalry that formed came to a head at one of NXT’s big events, as Oba Femi put his NXT Championship on the line against Ricky Saints.

The wrestling world was buzzing when Saints made his WWE NXT debut on February 11th, 2025. It was clear from the beginning that WWE had huge plans for him. Saints have had many major matches and feuds since coming to NXT, but none bigger than this.

Oba Femi has been a dominant Champion. His size and athleticism are rare in professional wrestling. He has all the characteristics to be a major player on WWE’s main roster. Is his loss in this match to the Saints an indication that he may be main roster-bound?

It is possible, however, that if that does happen, WWE will have to continue his push and dominance. So many NXT stars have gone to the main roster, just to be lost in the shuffle. Femi coming to the main roster would be a nice addition to it.

There are several feuds that Femi could go into on the main roster. Gunther and Brock Lesnar come to mind right away. Or even a mid-card title picture on either Raw or Smackdown.

While the question remains if Oba Femi is main roster-bound? One thing is for sure. There’s a lot of exciting feuds and matches waiting for him when and if he’s called up!
