This week on Hot Tag, Hotdogs and Handshakes I sat down with the man that has captivated the deathmatch scene overnight, Bear Bronson. Over a 2 and a half hour long episode we get into the history of Bears 10 year career. Join us as we explore where it all started. Starting off by talking about his general love for wrestling and where it all started, at Create A Pro.

We move on to the various tag partners Bronson has had to work with over the years. He has teamed with the likes of MJF, Bear Country, and The Iron Savages. We also discuss what it was like to be on the indies during such a time. The beginning of AEW’s development was significant. Also, we talk about the creative process of who Bear Bronson is becoming in the next steps of his career.

To his time with AEW to returning to the indies, we talk about the differences between the independent scene and the televised shows. We cover the talent he had to work with. Additionally, the struggles of feeling like an outsider in a company known for “where the best wrestle” are discussed. Bear goes in depth about the process of leaving AEW to return to the indies. He needed to reinvent himself as a singles competitor going forward.

With all the lessons learned in AEW and his career up until now, Bear Bronson is having the time of his life. He is doing ANYTHING and EVERYTHING he can in the independent scene. He wants the rounds, and if you’re an independent wrestler, he probably wants to share a ring with you too. From deathmatch to simple singles competition, Bear is hungry for his next competitor. He loves being in the ring. He is a talent that truly eats, sleeps, and breathes this business wholeheartedly.
