Independent Wrestler Passes Away During Show

PWInsider has reported that Independent star “Jurassic Juggernaut” Vince Steele passed away yesterday during a show in New Jersey.
Steele was performing at the Mecca in Ridgefield Park, NJ, for Brii Combination Wrestling, where he was booked as part of a Four-Way bout when the medical emergency happened.
Steele, an NYC native, was a 21-year veteran who worked in Indy promotions such as BCW and ACE in New Jersey. He also wrestled for Florida’s CCW and in Puerto Rico last year. He was only 39 years old.
Florida’s Coastal Championship Wrestling issued a statement on their X account:
“We are heartbroken to learn about the passing of “The Jurassic Juggernaut” Vince Steele.
Our thoughts are with his family, his friends, and his fans. Rest In Peace, big man. You will forever be missed.”
