On Friday, August 29th, wrestling fans were treated to an unforgettable night of wrestling, featuring some of the greatest indie stars in the world! Beyond Wrestling presented its annual show “Americanrama 2025,” live from Rhodes on the Pawtuxet in Cranston, RI—the first hour of which was streamed on Beyond Wrestling’s YouTube Channel. The rest of the show streamed on IWTV.

There were fourteen total matches on the card. The action never stopped as new champions were crowned and history was made before the jammed-packed, standing-room-only crowd! Let’s look back at some of the top moments of this epic event!

Shooter Boys Become New Wrestling Open Tag Team Champions

In what was one of the best matches of the night and tag team matches of the year, The Shooter Boys finally toppled that hurdle known as Swipe Right to become the new Tag Team Champions! The match saw many near-falls and false finishes. Even the fans with seats at the venue were on their feet most of the match.

At one point, it appeared Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes of Swipe Right were going to do what they always do and find a way to win. However, this time, Anthony Vecchio and Aaron Ortiz would not be denied. After their match, the fans celebrated with the new babyface Champions, chanting “Shooter Boys” and “You Deserve It!”

All Five Members Of Big Business Reunite

It was an eight-man tag match between Big Business, minus “Big Bacon” Brad Hollister. They took on the Stetson Ranch and Charles Mason. Mason was the mystery partner revealed the previous night on Wrestling Open.

The match was good, hard-hitting, and very physical, as you would expect from both these teams. The ending saw Love, Doug from Big Business, pick up the pinfall on Charles Mason. This most likely was by design, as none of the actual members of Stetson Ranch were pinned, which can be used if they want to continue the feud.

The biggest surprise was after the match. Steven Stetson attacked Love, Doug, but as quickly as that happened, we heard Brad Hollister’s music play. Big Bacon came down to the ring and took care of Stetson. At first, it appeared there was some tension between TJ Crawford and Brad Hollister. The two eventually hugged it out, and then all five team members hugged, showing unity in the end!

IWTV World Champion Marcus Mathers Retains

To this point, Marcus Mathers has had a fantastic run with the IWTV World Title! Even with that, he was about to face one of his toughest opponents in Matt Cardona.

This match worked so well because Cardona is such a good heel. He knows exactly how to work the crowd. During the match, the crowd chanted, “Chelsea Green, Cardona’s wife, outside the squared circle.

Likewise, Mathers is such an over-babyface. The crowd is always behind him, and he does a great job fighting from underneath. Ultimately, Mathers retained his championship, defeating Cardona to the crowd’s roar.

Bobby Orlando Becomes New Wrestling Open Champion

Everyone was anticipating this main event. Once best friends and tag team partners, they have now become bitter rivals! Coming into the match, one question remained. Would this be the night Bobby Orlando will find a way to do it?!

Orlando has always had the odds stacked against him against the Wrestling Open Champion, Bryce Donovan, and his faction. They tried everything to get rid of Orlando numerous times, but to no avail.

However, this time felt different! The buzz in the air and the electricity from the crowd in the building were incredible! Vinny Scalice attempted numerous times to help Donovan retain. However, in one of the biggest moments in the match, former Wrestling Open Champion “Fancy” Ryan Clancy came down to aid Orlando.

Clancy has been very vocal about his disgust for Orlando ever since Orlando inadvertently hit Clancy with the Wrestling Open belt, causing Bryce Donovan to defeat him and become the new champion. Still, in the end, when Orlando needed someone to come to his aid, “Fancy” Ryan Clancy answered the call!

Bobby Orlando defeated Bryce Donovan to become the new champion. It was a great feel-good moment that closed out a fantastic show, sending the packed house in Cranston, RI, home happy!
