We have brand new National Wrestling Alliance World Women’s Tag Team Champions!

In Saturday’s NWA POWERRR triple threat main event, Pretty Empowered’s Kenzie Paige & Kylie Alexa captured the women’s tag team gold. The defeated The Hex’s Marti Belle & Allysin Kay to end their second reign with the titles, in a match that also featured Clara Carter & Haley J. The Hex’s second run came to an end at just 133 days. The Hex defended their titles against the likes of Sirena Veil & Vipress, and TVMA’s Gretta & Tiffany Nieves. The Hex’s second reign fell far shorter than their first reign, which lasted 287 days back in 2021-22. Ironically, that reign was also ended by a different iteration of Pretty Empowered, Kylie Alexa & Ella Envy.

The faction of Pretty Empowered has held the titles now four times. The first came from Alexa and Envy. Their second reign was Ella Envy and Roxy, while their third was once again Ella Envy and Kylie. We even saw Kenzie Paige and Big Mama hold the titles. However, despite all the different iterations, this is officially the first time that the two real-life sisters have held the titles together. The NWA women’s tag team division is in excellent hands, as arguably Pretty Empowered’s two strongest members are running the division. Pretty Empowered are officially the top of the mountain again in the tag division.

The NWA women’s tag team division just got a whole lot more “PRETTY.” If history is any indication, I don’t know when or if anyone can beat this dominant team.
