On Sunday, May 31st, WWE travels overseas for its latest PLE, “WWE Clash In Italy!” The event comes to us live from the Inalpi Arena in Turin, Italy, with a start time of 2 PM EST, and is streaming on ESPN Unlimited in the US and Netflix Internationally.

Five explosive matches are on the card, including four championship matches, culminating with a Tribal Combat Match for the World Heavyweight Championship, as Roman Reigns defends his title against his Jacob Fatu in a highly-anticipated rematch! Some of the staff of Turnbuckle Times weigh in on the matches and give their picks on who walks out of Italy victorious.

Here are the staff picks for WWE Clash In Italy:

Oba Femi vs. Brock Lesnar 2

WWE brought Brock Lesnar back to face Oba Femi for one reason: to continue this feud. That’s why Lesnar will win this match to set up a rubber match and final showdown, most likely at SummerSlam.

WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship: Becky Lynch (c.) vs. Sol Ruca

This match is tough to predict, and could go either way depending on WWE’s long-term booking plans for these two. I feel like this is a great spot for Sol Ruca to shine, and WWE appears to have high hopes for her. That’s why I’m going with Ruca winning and becoming the new champion!

WWE Women’s Championship: Rhea Ripley (c.) vs. Jade Cargill

This match should be tough and physical. The fact that WWE has been booking Cargill strongly, and that she pinned the Champ on Saturday Night Main Event, leads me to believe Ripley is winning this match and finally getting her revenge on Cargill.

Undisputed WWE Championship: Cody Rhodes (c.) vs. Gunther

Like the Becky Lynch and Sol Ruca match, this is another toss-up! You can make the case for either one of these superstars to come out with the win. I’m going to go with Cody Rhodes retaining here for no other reason than just a hunch!

World Heavyweight Championship – Tribal Combat: Roman Reigns (c.) vs. Jacob Fatu

I really want to see Jacob Fatu win here. I don’t want to see the WWE do to him what they’ve done to other big stars, and that’s to have him lose repeatedly in title matches. With that said, I don’t see Reigns losing the title until at least Summerslam, so I am going to pick Reigns to retain here begrudgingly.
