On April 4, 2025 WWE returned to the United States for their 1,337th episode of Smackdown live from Rosemont, Illinois airing on USA Network (United States) & Netflix (Everywhere else)

* CM Punk kicks off the show and is joined by Paul Heyman.

1.) Rey Fenix defeats Nathan Frazier.

* Eye-Patch Drew McIntyre addresses Damian Priest.

2.) LA Knight defeats Tama Tonga.

* Paul Heyman is shown still stressing over CM Punk’s favor.

* Charlotte Flair & Tiffany Stratton have an in-ring interview with Wade Barrett.

3.) WWE Tag-Team Championship # 1 Contender Match: Motor City Machine Guns defeated DIY.

4.) Naomi defeats B-Fab.

* Kevin Owens says he needs neck surgery, Randy Orton doesn’t know if he should believe him. Then Orton hits an RKO on Nick Aldis.

5.) WWE U.S. Championship # 1 Contender Last Man Standing Match: Jacob Fatu defeats Braun Strowman.

*CM Punk reveals his favor is for Paul Heyman to be in his corner for the three-way match at Wrestlemania 41. Reigns laughs and tells Heyman to let Punk down easy.

Heyman tears up. Reigns asks if he’s crying. He says wipe them up and tell him no. He gives him one last chance to tell Punk no.

Heyman says, “No, I can’t do that my Tribal Chief.” Reigns bullies Heyman into a corner. Punk attacks Reigns from behind and hits him with a GTS, leaving him laying. Punk and Rollins lock eyes and the show goes off the air.
