On the Monday, June 16th edition of Raw, one-half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, Liv Morgan, sustained a legitimate injury in her match against Kairi Sane. The injury happened at the beginning of the match.

In what appeared to be a standard takedown from Sane, Morgan injured her right shoulder when using her arms to break her fall. Morgan immediately left the ring to receive treatment from doctors, but the camera purposely stayed away from her, and the show went on a commercial break.

Morgan was taken to the back during the break, and Sane was declared the match winner by forfeit. Michael Cole later announced on commentary that Morgan had suffered a dislocated shoulder.

The severity of the injury has not been disclosed yet. However, it appears she will definitely be sidelined for the WWE All Women’s PPV Revolution in July, where she was rumored to have a match with Nikki Bella—an angle that was going to further the storyline between the two prior to the injury.

The timeline will also mean that the former WWE Women’s Champion will be out for WWE’s Flagship Show SummerSlam in August. The length of time Morgan will be away will also depend on what the WWE does with the Women’s Tag Team Titles.

We wish Liv Morgan a speedy recovery and will keep you posted as updates develop!
