Ruthless Pro Wrestling Miasma 2 Recap (April 18, 2025)

Miasma 2 took place a few weeks back. With nine matches and five championships on the line including the Ruthless Pro Wrestling Rust Belt and the Heavyweight Belt, it’s set to be an action packed event. Kevin Gill and Peapod on commentary.
Hoodfoot” Mo Atlas (C) vs Tim Strange for the RPW Heavyweight Championship
First match is a big hoss matchup. Heavyweight belt doesn’t seem to present. Brief celebration of Hoodfoot’s birthday and the match is underway. Big chops from Hoodfoot followed by a few slams. Next, suicide dive through the ropes to which takes down the challenger Strange. They trade shots outside of the ring. Hoodfoot gets handed a drink and Strange force feeds it to him saying not to drink on the job. A couple chair shots from Strange. Big elbow from Strange sends Hoodfoot on to a door which he breaks right through due to his size. Strange tries for a flying elbow and Hoodfoot moves right in time for Strange to catch air. Strange’s fall breaks the rest of the door. Hoodfoot borrows a fans camera and glasses to virally showcase his onslaught. Strange gets back to his feet using a metal sheet to beat on Hoodfoot. Back in the ring they battle it out using more metal sheets. Bodyslam from Strange onto a wooden door. Hoodfoot grinds a giant kenzan on Stange’s forehead. Big chair shot from Hoodfoot. Strange back in control crushes a cardboard birthday hat onto Hoodfoot’s head. Big suplex from Hoodfoot that catches the edge of the kenzan. Hoodfoot goes for the pin. “Hoodfoot” Mo Atlas defeats Tim Strange by pinfall to retain the RPW Heavyweight Championship.
BA Rose vs Tommy Trainwreck
BA Rose is considered by many to be a top UK deathmatch wrestler and he’s taking on a rising talent in Tommy Trainwreck. Tommy welcomes BA to the US with some big punches. BA leaves the ring to escape the barrage. Back and forth light tube attacks from Tommy and BA. Tommy plants BA on top a thumbtack chair but BA returns the favor. BA climbs the bar counter and dives into Tommy. Big pop from the crowd. Sideslam then Senton Bomb from BA. Backbreaker from Tommy who keeps the attack going with a thumbtack bat. BA counters and signals for the finish which gets reversed. Tommy lands a destroyer then a lariat. Tommy lights his knee cap on fire and hits a flaming knee drop. Close call for BA but he is not done yet. Tommy gets tackled into the gusset plate door and BA wraps himself in barbed wire slamming into the downed Trainwreck. Another Senton Bomb from BA this time wrapped in barbed wire. BA goes for the pin and Trainwreck is done. BA Rose defeats Tommy Trainwreck by pinfall.
Next up a promo from Nathan Mowery, it’s refreshing to see Nathan doing the trash talk without the Rev. Quality stuff
Dimitri Alexandrov (C) vs “The Killbilly” Nathan Mowery for the WrestleRave World Hazard Championship
It doesn’t take long for things to get going. Back and forth gusset plate attacks. Tube shots exchanged outside the ring. Mowery uses the deer antlers to carve up Dimitri. Huge pop for the fire cracker bat. Mowery uses the hack saw, for the record he’s got two signature spots using weapons. Dimitri gets revenge with the scissor bat. Nathan lights a board on fire gets countered by Dimitri and looks like he catches some burns on his back. Nathan on the ground while Dimitri sets up the finish a flaming light tube contraption. Dimitri drops Mowery into the flaming tubes and gets the three. Dimitri Alexandrov defeats “The Killbilly” Nathan Mowery by pinfall to retain the WrestleRave World Hazard Championship.
Iceman vs Bam Sullivan vs Hardway Heeter
Malcolm Monroe III is absent which led to Bam Sullivan as the replacement. The three start off with two tubes in each hands. Then take some turns bashing each other with the bats. Bam attacks Iceman until he leaves the ring. Hardway gets the upper hand and starts wailing on Bam with metal lids. Bam fights Iceman in the crowd a fan’s drink gets knocked over. Iceman gets fired up over the spilled drink tosses the leftovers over Bam cut forhead. Bam takes the lead tosses Iceman through the ropes. Some back and forth attack against Hardway. Iceman comes back with a quick double lariat to take both guys down. Iceman in control lands big moves on both of his opponents, throws Bam out, grabs a bundle of tubes and stacks them up against Hardway in the corner. Big cannonball from Iceman to put away Heeter for the three count. Iceman defeats Bam Sullivan and Hardway Heeter in a Three Way match by pinfall.
Judge Joe Dred (C) w/Steven Jury vs Casanova Valentine for the Circle 6 World Championship
Match is for Three Falls. Some chain wrestling, Dred seems to have the advantage. Dred goes for a tube but Cas grabs Dred’s arms, and headbutt to the tubes before Dred knows what hit him. Cas with a DDT then smashes a few tubes over Dred. A couple of face slams into the nearby piano. Dred plays a few notes. Then, Cas fights back with lemon juice. The two take turns carving each other up. Cas props up a tube over Dred’s shoulder, possible face buster setup. Dred with a low blow followed by a cutter. Dred pins and Jury holds Cas’ feet. The ref counts to three with Cas squirming to break free. Dred celebrates forgetting the match is still going and Cas capitalizes with a huge lariat. Cas gets the three count. The next pin decides it. Dred and Cas take turns slamming each other through the doors then an exchange of punches. Cas whips Dred into a door. Brings out his infamous Satan’s cock, a dildo covered in nails. Cas attempts a modified gator choke using the spiked weaponry over Dred’s face. Jury comes in with the save by breaking a bundle over Cas. Cas gets up uses his finisher, Stage5Clinger, to put away Jury for good. Dred take advantage of the distracted Cas. Dred goes for his finisher, the Death Sentence, which lands on to a light tube. Judge Joe Dred w/ Steven Jury defeats Casanova Valentine by pinfall to retain the Circle 6 World Championship.
Following the match Cas is heated. He challenges Dred to a rematch at RISE and the two exchange words. Dred hocks a loogie at Cas and storms off with the belt. Looks like there is still unfinished business.
Jack Harrop vs Carnivore Rhor
Jack is immersed in the energy from the crowd, he showboats and gets a chant going. But, Rhor is all business he comes in a gives Jack a shove. Rhor then tries to play nice by offering a handshake, which he quickly pulls away and headbutts Jack. Jack comes back with some headbutts of his own and the two duke it out for a moment. Jack drops Rhor, then hits him with a Senton bomb after. They take the match outside the ring and begin using tubes on each other. Jack gets a gusset stuck to his forehead. Jack comes back with a bundle of skinny tubes. Jack savors the moment taking his time to break each tube one by one over Rhor. Jack uses a bike chain to choke Rhor. But Rhor gets out and uses the same chain to choke Jack back. Rhor brings Jack to the bar, spits a drink in his face and smashes a glass cup on Jack’s head. That got the crowd’s attention. They trade tubes shot until Rhor choke slams Jack on the side of the ring. Rhor brings out the machete and slices up Jack. Thumbtacks scattered around the center of the ring and both men get big body drops on to the tacks. Ura nage slam from Rhor. Fatigue looks to be setting in. Jack’s down but not out. Irish whip reversal leave Rhor open for a backbreaker onto a light tube covered door. Quick pin from Jack. Jack Harrop defeats Carnivore Rhor by pinfall. Following the match the two hug it out in a show of good sportsmanship. Entertaining story telling in this match. Don’t sleep on these two.
Dr. Redacted vs Big Fn Joe
Redacted launches a chair at Joe. They scramble to the center to throw punches in a style reminiscent of Don Frye and Yoshihiro Takayama. Punches and bunches from Big Joe who then takes a giant clothes pin and latches it on to Dr. Redacted’s junk. Wow. Joe starts counting turnbuckle punches then changes his approach by having the ref hand his tubes to break over Redacted. Looks like they get to eight before moving on. Great set of combinations from the Doctor. Overall quick pace lots of action to keep up with. A couple tube shots and Redacted gets a gusset to the forehead. Joe takes Redacted to the restroom. More tube shots. Both guys try to give the other a swirly in the toilet, but both were determined not to get flushed. Probably for the best. They take the match outside. Redacted is covered in blood, he gives Joe a seat then canonballs into him. Then takes a moment to wrap his head in a towel to keep from being blinded by his own blood. Ref clears the way and Redacted hops in a dune buggy provided by the Bonecrusher crew. Redacted does a drive by tube shot on Joe, which is an absolutely insane viral moment. The dune buggy tries to hit Joe but Joe evades. Joe comes back with some tube shots of his own. Redacted his leaking all over the place. They head back inside. Joe brings the giant kenzan back out to hammer it into Redacted’s torso using the chair. Redacted returns with a back body drop. Redacted does a Death Valley Driver on to a flat screen TV but that’s not enough. Redacted does a cross arm submission on Joe and that’s it. Dr. Redacted defeats Big Fn Joe by submission. Easily match of the day.
Eric Dillinger vs Lou Nixon for the Rise European Deathmatch Champion
Lou Nixon, a champ-champ, comes out showing off two belts. Good grappling from Nixon. Dillinger keeps up with the pace. Multiple big kicks from Big Lou. Tornado DDT from Dillinger. Lou does two German Suplexs until Dillinger counters with his own German Suplex. Dillinger goes coast to coast with a dropkick on Lou. Dillinger takes a knee plus tube combo to the face. Nixon puts a chokehold on Dillinger, but it gets reversed. Dillinger goes for the light tube nunchuks but Nixon evades and kicks Dillinger in the head. Another choke from Lou but Dillinger breaks free using the nunchucks. Dillinger uses the light tube nunchucks to give the same choke to Lou. However, Lou able to flips Dillinger over his shoulders to get the pin. Lou Nixon defeats Eric Dillinger by pinfall to retain the Rise European Deathmatch Championships.

Drake Younger vs Rickey Shane Page for the vacant RPW Rust Belt Championship
Some history between the two, Drake has beaten RSP twice in singles matches. Huge pop for Drake when he comes out. RSP rejects the glove touch. They lock up, some narrow misses of the glass panes. Drake breaks the first pane by launching RSP through using a double underhook German suplex. Drake brings out a chair and begins beating on a downed RSP. Choke slam from RSP and Drake crashes into the pane he set up. RSP takes a handful of glass and scraps it across Drake’s back. Big body slam by RSP. RSP tosses Drake into anther pane of glass. Armlock followed by Sidewalk Slam from RSP. Blockbuster by Drake on to a pane of glass. Turnbuckle punches from Drake. Drake’s Landing attempt but RSP reverses to get out. Drake hits a spinning DDT off the top rope but the pane underneath RSP doesn’t break so Drake places the pane on top of RSP and smashes it with a chair. RSP gets back up tosses Drake from the top rope onto another pane balancing on the ropes. One final pane left outside of the ring, RSP hits a Death Valley Driver on Drake smashing the last pane all over the nearby crowd. Looks spectacular. RSP goes for the pin thinking it’s all over, but Drake rolls it over into a crucifix pin and takes the victory right under from RSP. Drake Younger defeat RSP by pinfall to become the new RPW Rust Belt Champion.
After Drake grabs a mic and shares his thoughts on returning to deathmatch wrestling and stepping up to take Shlak’s place.
