Last month, independent wrestling veteran Jeff Cannonball courageously shared heartbreaking news—he has been diagnosed with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis). A progressive and currently incurable neurological disease. The announcement shook the wrestling world. As fans and fellow wrestlers alike came to terms with the difficult reality facing one of the most beloved figures in the scene.

In true wrestling fashion, the community didn’t hesitate to rally around Jeff, his wife, and their young child. A GoFundMe was launched to help support the family with the overwhelming medical and life expenses associated with ALS. The response has been nothing short of incredible—over $113,000 has already been raised. Showing just how deeply respected and loved Jeff is, both in and out of the ring.

To further support Jeff, Tony Deppen and Joey Janela announced a special charity wrestling event with all proceeds going directly to Jeff and his family. The event will take place on Saturday, September 14th at 4:00 PM at New Providence High School in New Jersey. Both Deppen and Janela have promised that this will be a must-see show, loaded with top-tier talent—and today, they proved they’re not holding back.
